🚀 Getting Started

Figo is a global dollar card that lets you spend anywhere Visa is accepted. You can fund your card with USD via bank transfer to your virtual dollar account, or by depositing stablecoins like USDC or USDT. We're building financial infrastructure for people in emerging markets who need reliable access to dollar-denominated spending power.
Creating a Figo account is quick and easy: Download the Figo app or visit our website, enter your email address and create a password, verify your phone number, complete identity verification (KYC), and once approved, you can fund your account and get your card. The entire process typically takes less than 10 minutes.
For standard verification, you'll need: A valid government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID, or driver's license), a selfie for facial verification, and proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, or official letter dated within 3 months).

💳 Cards

Virtual Card: A digital card you can use immediately for online purchases. Card details are available in the app. Physical Card: A physical Visa card shipped to your address. Use it for in-store purchases, ATM withdrawals, and contactless payments. Both cards are linked to the same account balance.
Once your account is verified, you can request a physical card from the app. Go to Cards → Request Physical Card, confirm your shipping address, and your card will be shipped within 5-10 business days. Physical cards are shipped free of charge.
Your Figo card works anywhere Visa is accepted worldwide — that's over 70 million merchants globally. Use it for online shopping, in-store purchases, subscriptions (Netflix, Spotify, etc.), and ATM withdrawals.
You can instantly freeze your card from the app if it's lost or you suspect unauthorized use. Go to Cards → select your card → Freeze Card. You can unfreeze it anytime the same way.

💵 Funding

You have two ways to fund your account: Bank Transfer (send USD to your unique virtual dollar account via wire or ACH transfer) or Stablecoin Deposit (deposit USDC, USDT, or other supported stablecoins directly to your wallet address). Both methods credit your balance in dollars, ready to spend.
Your virtual dollar account is a unique USD account number that you can share with employers, clients, or anyone who needs to pay you in dollars. Funds sent to this account are automatically credited to your Figo balance.
We currently support USDC and USDT deposits. Stablecoins are converted to USD in your account at a 1:1 rate. We support deposits on multiple networks — check the app for currently supported chains.
Figo does not charge fees for receiving bank transfers or stablecoin deposits. However, your bank or the blockchain network may charge their own fees for sending funds. Check our Fee Schedule for complete details.

🔒 Security

We use multiple layers of security: Bank-level encryption for all data, two-factor authentication (2FA), biometric login (fingerprint/face), real-time transaction monitoring, and instant card freeze capability.
If you notice any suspicious activity: Immediately freeze your card in the app, contact our support team right away, change your password, and review recent transactions. We take fraud seriously and will investigate all reports promptly.
Go to Settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication. You can enable 2FA via SMS or an authenticator app. We strongly recommend enabling 2FA to protect your account.
